I got tricked by Quibids...
Yesterday as I was "stumbleupon-ing" I came across an article about Quibids. I thought, wow how cool, I am so going to try this! Well, that's where it all began. For those of you who have never heard about Quibids, it is an online auction site where each bid raises the price only by 1 cent. They have macbooks, ipads, and so many more great electronics that sell for anywhere from $3.00-$150.00. But here is the catch, you pay 60 cents for each bid you place. I started off paying $60 for 100 bids. I thought I had it all planned out to where I could bid on a 500 bid voucher for under $10 and be set on bidding for the ipad that I was determined to get. Well, I never ended up winning any of those bids except one for 2 cents for a 20 bid voucher + $15 wal-mart gift card (I mean really, I paid $60 to win that?!?!) So by this point, I am beyond frustrated...I decide to purchase just 45 more bids for $27. I have now invested $87 in bidding, needless to say...I only left with the $15 Wal-mart gift card and wasted about 8 hours of my life. Thanks Quibids.
Above is my screen, as you can see I have 0 bids left. But doesn't it look so appealing that I could win these things for so cheap? I definitely bought into it. sigh. Last night a brand new macbook sold for $112. Multiply that by 60 cents and their profit on that alone was $6,720 (minus the cost they pay for the computer-which they obviously get at cost!) WHAT A SCAM!

two days two shoes
I have been on a shoe craze lately and this week isn't starting off any different! I have bought these two pairs of shoes this week:
1. Bebe Austin Sandal in black
[now available on beyondtherack! send me an e-mail if you need an invitation!]
2. Nine West Vintage America Boots in brown leather
Can't wait to share me wearing them in outfits!
happy tuesday!
Where I get dressed
I love seeing blog posts about closets. I dream of one day having a closet the size of a large room, completely organized where I am able to see all of my clothes, shoes, purses, jewelry, scarves, and every other accessory I own! [Basically like every celebrity owns.] For now, I have organized all my clothing the best I can think of how with my limited space. In my closet, I have all my bottoms, tops, dresses and jackets color coordinated within each category. I use all plastic white hangers; and I like to use the smaller size for tank tops. My purses are all at the very top, which is annoying because I have to use a chair to get them down. To the left of my closet, I have a small chest of drawers [which I painted] full of jewelry, scarves, socks, and tights. Sitting on top is my rings, bracelets, and a few necklaces. Hanging above the chest of drawers is the earring/necklace holder I made [which is almost finished!] I still need to find vintage door knobs to screw into the top of the frame so I can hang my necklaces.

the leaves are falling
I have been bombarded with school work lately so yesterday Andrew and I went to his mountain/lake house in North Carolina to relax and get away for the evening. Wow, the leaves were so pretty! They were all different shades of red, orange, yellow, green and purple. As we drove to the Fresh Market to get some food to cook for dinner, I kept wanting to stop to take pictures of so many different trees.

I was dying on my drive up there because I was trying to take pictures of all the different colors of trees on my iphone but was sure I would wreck if I didn't stop! hehe, at least I got one!
Now, I did have to ask Andrew to stop for this picture. It was necessary-don't you think? SO PRETTY!
Andrew & I looking out over the horse pastures.
I cooked chicken cordon bleu, potatoes and green beans. southern style :)
Not a fan of cold weather, but am a HUGE fan of fires-especially real fires. (not gas logs)
I had a Happy Monday. Hope you did too!!

A weekend in Clemson
I spent this past weekend in Clemson. On Friday, we went to my friend, Corey's 21st birthday party. His parents rented out the top room at our [mine & andrew's] favorite sushi restaurant. We had so much fun!! On Saturday, we tailgated all day with our friends. Here are some of my pictures from the weekend:

He was LOVIN' the saki shots. This was bud light with a shot of saki. He hit his head on the table and all the shots dropped in for everyone to start chugging. Check out the picture below.

Day TWO:
How do best friends end up matching? Of course we didn't know we were both wearing the same skirt, but I didn't bring an alternative gameday outfit and her house is miles away from the stadium so we made the best of it!

Olivia showing off her new kicks! She is rockin' the grunge boots.

I had to post this picture. Aren't her eyes so pretty?! I love blue eyes! My boyfriend has some amazing baby blues too.

So in LOVE :)
Hope everyone else had a great weekend!!!
